Supervision Programmes
This model for supervision and the principles that underpin this work mean that it can be offered in a range of settings. Whatever the setting a clear contract would be agreed so that expectations can be identified at the outset and outcomes monitored throughout.
Individual Supervision
Regular one to one supervision is a requirement for most therapists and is encouraged for coaches. This can be contracted on a regular basis. Supervision is also being recognised as a useful resource for anyone who is routinely dealing with people in difficult or challenging circumstances. This could include those working in social care, teachers and trainers, healthcare practitioners and anyone in the helping the professions.
Group Supervision
The process remains essentially the same but the dynamic of groupwork is very different as it also encourages a form of mutual support that continues outside of the session. Scheduling regular sessions supports the development of the necessary trust so that people can talk freely about any aspect of their work.
